Pike Place Market is a nine-acre farmer’s market in downtown Seattle, Washington. This market, in existence since 1907, is home to 200 year-round commercial businesses, 120 farmers who rent table space, 300 apartment units for low-income elderly people and 240 street performers and musicians.
